Free Tattoo Removal

By

If you are looking for a free tattoo removal, there’s good news and bad news. The bad news is that there are no such things as laser free tattoo removal programs and that there is no guarantee you’ll be able to get 100% rid of your tattoo. A tattoo removal cream is unlikely to get the job done. The good news (okay, maybe it’s not so good) is that you can get a very effective laser treatment for a price and you might get it for free if you were involved with a gang…

Back in the day getting rid of your tattoo involved painful surgery, which involved opening up your skin and then sewing your wound back up. These days, lasers (more specifically, Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation) are the norm. They work by disintegrating the tattoo pigments, which are then absorbed by your body. Will it be painful? Patients say that the pulsating laser is similar to getting slightly hit with a rubber band.

The procedure, rather than taking place all at the same time, will take place in intervals so that your body has time to absorb the broken up tattoo pigments. It will also be a lot easier to remove your tattoo if it is made out of black or dark blue ink because all lasers can get rid of these pigments (this is also why darker hair is easier to remove if you want a laser hair removal). If you have yellow or green pigments, it will be a lot harder to get rid of. You’ll likely have some sort of scar, in the shape of your old tattoo, after it is removed. Some colors will also stay intact. Tattoo removal is thus a misnomer and should be thought of as a tattoo reducer.

Your tattoo removal may cost $500, it may cost $2,000. This all depends on what color ink is in your tattoo, how big it is, how old it is, and where on your body it is located. Your insurance company will not pay for it unless it’s for medical reasons (which I have a hard time thinking of). There are creams out there, which claim to remove tattoos but your should be very weary of their promises. They know that people who want to get rid of their old tattoos are pretty desperate and will buy something cheap. Your best bet is to speak to your doctor so that they can refer you to a specialist.

Getting a free gang related tattoo removal:

Check out www.chuckmuncie.org, which is the website of a foundation, which gives out laser tattoo removals for free in exchange for community service. Because this place is located in California you may be better off just pay for the removal yourself due to the flight tickets. Check to see if there are foundations in your area, which help out those who aren’t in gangs anymore.

A more realistic alternative to getting a free tattoo removal is financing it. After all, we finance cars and houses. Why not finance something as important as a tattoo removal? If the laser surgeon’s office does not have a finance or payment plan you can check out independent companies such as CareCredit. You can also take out a cash out refinance, home equity loan, or a home equity line of credit to make paying for the procedure a lot easier.
